It’s super easy…
You can grow so many plants vertically.
Don’t limit yourself to just crops. I’m growing cherry tomatoes, pole beans and this beautiful clematis on the same trellis.
Diverse plants will confuse pests! So throw them off their groove by mixing it up. I have alyssum next to my pepper because they invite the parasitic wasp in, a known foe of the tomato horn worm!
For passive watering, I include olla pots from that reduce the risk of disease since I’m watering the plants at their roots.
And you’ll find me throwing in new seeds every couple of weeks, things like lettuce, radishes, cucumbers, and beans. You can succession plant so many crops from seed to keep your garden constantly providing.
