Finding the joy in falling back into routines

As I am sure all downtown Portsmouth businesses are, Evie is transformed in Summer! It's tourists and families, and only just a sprinkle of familiar faces. The streets are busy and people are from all over, we delight in finding out where they are from and what brought them to this little seaside town. We sell different types of things in the summer months, and its just an entirely alternate vibe! Getting downtown and finding parking is more challenging, and when we see our regulars, they usually have visiting family and friends in tow, doing the tourist circuit. Its gratifying to share our favorite bakeries, sightseeing spots, and places to get the best lobster roll with the visitors who seem to really treasure this inside knowledge.

This flow is slowing now- the mornings and evenings are cooler, mums are on full display at nurseries, and the kids are solidly back at school. This means we see all of your faces again! I love when the locals emerge to come get their fall wardrobes, say hello and catch us up on what you have been doing!

New Fall Arrivals are pouring in this week- we are ushering in Farm Rio, Hope & Sunshine, Current Air, Sanctuary, Spiritual Gangster, and hopefully some surprises too! Some of the below are in store now, some are arriving later this week, DM for details!

Katie and I always crack up over how many laughs and pointing fingers we get when we dress the mannequins- YALL need to get your minds out of the gutter!!!!! You know who you are! Hahaha! Kidding- don’t ever change! Windows loading!!!!
