One of my favorite things is seeing people make a Motley piece their own.

A customer stopped by the booth last weekend and was looking through the misfit gloves to find the perfect pair. While they were there, they discovered my trinket basket and started picking out buttons to add to the gloves. Before they left, they told me they were going home to sew them on. Later that evening, I got to see the finished gloves.

What made me smile wasn’t just how great they turned out. It was how excited they were to create something with their own hands and make them completely their own.

I love the thought that went into every button they chose. Well done ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the New Jersey Renaissance Faire this past weekend 🖤

It was so wonderful meeting so many of you and getting to see how differently everyone styled their Motley pieces. From whimsical fae looks to romantic layers to rugged warrior styling, every outfit brought its own personality and energy.

Before the snow rolled in this past weekend, Motley stepped out twice.

One familiar face added another pair to his collection. He has been wearing Motley for years and came back for another.

Another chose her hat and gloves that afternoon, and later that evening, stepped onto a stage and performed in them.

Two different people. Two different styles.
