Last week, a female customer walked in with two pairs of shoes. Instead of selling them, she said, "I'm honestly good with you just taking them off my hands."

​I told her right then: if she was willing to donate them, I’d promise to give them to someone who needed a nice pair for free.

​Today, one of our regular families came into the shop. My team gave away one of those pairs to their kid, and seeing that smile made the whole week.

​It’s easy in this market to get caught up in the hustle, the margins, and nickel-and-diming every single item. But moments like this remind us that business is about people first.

​To the customer who donated—I wish I caught your IG handle, but thank you for your generosity. It goes a long way and is contagious. Each one, reach one. 🙏🏾
