Welcome to Ties That Bind where I offer a collection of antiques and vintage collectibles. My mother was an avid collector of all things unusual, much to my dismay.. After she passed away I wondered into a thrift store one day, in an effort to feel her close to me I guess, and found myself mesmerized as I walked up and down the aisles at first laughing and then in turn crying as I thought of her doing the same. What started as a silly way to connect with my mother soon blossomed into a passion for finding hidden treasures to share with others. This past time has truly been one of the ties that bind me to mom!
