🎀Here’s our journal prompt for today 🎀
Praying for the next generation to be "builders, not destroyers" means asking for a change in how they see the world. Instead of just complaining, tearing things down, or not caring, we are praying that they will choose to create good things, fix what is broken, and live with a clear purpose. It is a powerful way to pray for their character and their future.
🙏🏼Pray for a heart to fix, not just complain. It is easy to point out what is broken…it is much harder to fix it.
Pray that the next generation won't just complain about the problems in the world, but will want to be the ones who roll up their sleeves and fix them.
🙏🏼Pray for wisdom, not just smarts. Being smart can sometimes lead to pride or tearing others down to look good. Pray that they use what they learn to help people and solve problems, rather than using their words to cause division.
🙏🏼Pray for patience to keep going. Destroying something is quick, but building something good takes time and hard work. Pray that they don't give up when things get tough. Ask for the patience to keep working on their goals, even when progress is slow.
🙏🏼Pray for teamwork. You can destroy things alone, but you need others to build something great. Pray that they find good friends and communities where they can work together, lift each other up, and encourage one another.
🩷Pray that they shift from fear and anger about the world…to hope and action for the future.
