đź‘‹Lots of you are new here, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.

I’m Julia, owner of JAC Designs, a residential design and drafting company I founded in 2022.

My passion for home design started at a young age, sketching house plans long before I knew it could become a career. That passion led me to earn my Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University and spend more than 10 years working alongside architects, builders, and interior designers.

Today, I help homeowners and builders turn ideas into thoughtfully designed homes that are both beautiful and functional. Whether it’s a custom home, renovation, addition, or stock plan modification, I believe every great home starts with a great plan.

At JAC Designs, my goal is simple: to create homes that are tailored to the way people truly live.

People ask what my favorite part of the design process is.

This, this is my element.

Most people see a floor plan and see rooms.
I see opportunities to make every square foot work harder, flow better, and feel intentional.
I can spend hours studying a plan, adjusting dimensions, refining layouts, and thinking through how a family will actually live in the space.

The smallest details matter, because they add up to the way a home feels every day.

I’m not satisfied with “good enough.” I keep refining until every room, every transition, and every square foot feels right.

This is what I love to do, and it’s what I do best.

This new construction project on Augusta Street started with one of our popular Earlewood lot plans as the foundation, then was thoughtfully tailored to fit this specific site.

We expanded the footprint, created larger living spaces for everyday living and entertaining, and added an additional bedroom to better support the family's lifestyle.
