These sunglasses used to be skateboards.

Not skateboard-inspired. Not skateboard-themed. Actual skateboards.

WUDN (pronounced “wooden”) sunglasses are crafted from broken and discarded skateboard decks, with the colorful layers of the original wood still visible in every frame.

They also happen to have polarized lenses, UV400 protection, anti-glare coatings, and spring hinges. Because looking cool is nice, but being able to see is helpful too.

And for every pair sold, a tree gets planted.

Not a bad second act for a skateboard.

WUDN HNDCRFTD EYEWEAR, now at Repurfect Provincetown and Repurfect.com.

(Thank you, Lauren, for the skateboard that became our display!)

Last week, we introduced a shipment of climbing ropes that retired from keeping people alive on cliff faces and somehow found themselves holding up pants in Provincetown.

We promised they’d eventually get their photoshoot.

After a series of unreasonable demands and extensive negotiations, the belts finally agreed.

Photos of all the climbing rope belts currently in stock are now posted on Repurfect.com, so you can browse every color and pattern online.

Shop online, stop by the store, or simply appreciate that these ropes have had a more adventurous life than most humans.

America turns 250 this year. These bags have already lived one life as military tents—now they're ready for another.

Vintage Addiction's latest trio: a flag market tote, a "1776" messenger, and a patriotic peace-sign bag. Made for people who want to mark the occasion without buying a commemorative coin nobody asked for.

Now at Repurfect Provincetown and Repurfect.com.

Christine Meegan's pottery pendants landed ten days ago. Now the necklaces are here, too.

Sterling silver, sea glass, and ceramic shards pulled from beaches and forgotten sites—each one finished by hand in her Truro studio. The kind of thing that looks like it has a history, because it does. Patterns and glazes made by someone else's hands, decades ago, now worn around your neck.

These make exceptional gifts for people who appreciate things with a story. Or for yourself, which is also allowed.

At Repurfect Provincetown and Repurfect.com.

S.E. Cayleff creates assemblages from found objects and rescued fragments. Cay’s newest pieces at Repurfect Provincetown are "Lights, Camera, Action!" "Tin Man's Apothecary," and "Under Lock & Key II." We'll let you figure out which is which.

Cayleff has been a Provincetown resident since 1973—retired professor, published author, former local kitchen hand, and someone who clearly sees the story in things other people walk past. Her assemblages are made from found, collected, and curated remnants of human life, and every piece shows it.

Come visie us and see these three new pieces at Repurfect, 350 Commercial Street.

For three years now, everyone entering Repurfect/Repurposed has wiped their feet on a rug from Las Palmeras Mexican Restaurant.

When we moved into this location, we bought a pallet of used 4’ x 6’ commercial mats, cut most of them up, and wall-to-wall carpeted the store. But the Las Palmeras mat was too good to sacrifice. It became our welcome mat — the first thing customers saw walking in, and a pretty accurate introduction to a store built around things that used to be other things.

But after three seasons of sand, salt, rain, sneakers, boots, flip-flops, and whatever that mysterious glitter substance is that permanently exists in Provincetown, Las Palmeras was looking a little… exhausted.

Enter The Steam Guys.

We weren’t expecting miracles. This mat had already lived an entire previous life at an actual restaurant before coming into our possession. But dang. Look at the before-and-after photos. Huge improvement.

(Yeah, we said “dang.” Everybody stay calm.)

So it looks like Las Palmeras probably has another season left in her before we start searching for an even quirkier way to welcome people into the store.

If you have an old entry mat from a Mexican Restaurant, consider The Steam Guys: Housekeeping and Steam Cleaning Services!

They also do Greek, Italian, Chinese, deli, diner, seafood shack, questionable sports bar, and whatever category of restaurant has a giant smiling hot dog wearing sunglasses on the floor mat.

Just tell 'em Las Palmeras sent you.

Chopstick Art baskets are one of our best sellers—popular enough that we had to source special boxes just to ship them. That's not a complaint. When something this good needs its own box, you find a box.

The baskets are made from 30 pairs of reclaimed restaurant chopsticks, woven into a geometric design that looks like it belongs in a gallery. They also fold flat, which means yours travels better than you'd expect for something this striking.

The new Jewel Tone colorway just arrived—five bold, unapologetic colors. Other colors, a smaller basket, and a baby soap dish version also available. Shop now at Repurfect Provincetown and Repurfect.com.

We’re concerned our latest staff shirt design might be a bit more obscure than the others. Baby Boomers and Gen-Xers who grew up in the Northeast will be more likely to recognize the logo on which this design is based.

Does anybody recognize it? Anyone?... Anyone?... Bueller?

They served in every war. They just couldn’t always say who they were.

Some never got to live as themselves.

We remember those who never came home this Memorial Day. All of them.

Somewhere in the UK, climbing ropes retired from lives of keeping people alive on cliff faces.

Then they were turned into belts. Then shipped across the Atlantic. Then hit with tariffs.

And yet here they are, ready to hold up someone’s pants in Provincetown.

Honestly, an inspiring story.

Available now at Repurfect Provincetown, but it’ll take a bit longer before they have their photoshoot and make their debut on Repurfect.com.

In the meantime, ain’t those pretty colors?
