NEW HOURS: Impact Center of Oklahoma (which houses the Kingdom Kloset) is returning back to our normal business hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10-3, and Thursday 10-6 (dinner served at 5:30.) Closed Tuesday, Sat/Sun. (additional days/times may vary depending on volunteer staff availability but will not be advertised).

The Impact Center serves an average of 50-60 men, women, and children daily through our clothing closet (Kingdom Kloset), food pantry, showers, and day center.

The rules for free clothing still apply:
* All shoppers must sign in
* One bag per family member (bags will be provided at check in)
* One visit per month
* Shoes/Shirts on inside and outside

As it starts to warm up, the needs of those we serve will change.
We have an immediate need for the following:
*Bottled water
*Deodorant (men’s and women’s)
*Bottled body soap
*All other hygiene items

Other things we need on a regular basis:
*New and/or gently used clothing and shoes for all ages and sizes.
*Summer blankets/bedding
*Ready to eat, non-perishable food items (canned/packaged meats or pastas, crackers, snacks)
*Laundry soap

Volunteers are needed during business hours to sort and hang clothes (men from women, summer from winter, etc).

It's that time of year again! In order to transition to our Spring clothing, The Kingdom Kloset will be closed for the remainder of the week (2/24-3/1). We will reopen on Mon, 3/2 with new business hours: Mon, Wed and Fri 10:00-3:00, Thursdays 10:00-6:00 (dinner served at 5:30) and closed on Tuesday/Saturday/Sunday.

The Impact Center of Oklahoma day center will be closed on Tuesday, but will be open Wed-Fri, 2/25-2/27.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.... but during this time we will be UNABLE to accept any new donations other than food or hygiene items. While all donations are GREATLY appreciated, we simply do not have enough staff or storage space to keep up with the workload it takes to process donations and to transition seasons at the same time. Please DO NOT leave donations on the porch after hours.

Reminder, we are unable to open the Kingdom Kloset (clothing closet) or receive clothing donations during this time. We will resume our normal hours soon.

We are now into Day 5 of our slumber party. We have heard more laughter these 5 days than we have heard in a long time. Some of us are starting to get cabin fever and are starting to get a little bored. We could use some new people to talk to, so if you are starting to get cabin fever too and wanna come hang out with us, that would be fun! But for safety purposes, no pillow fights allowed (sorry 😁).

So far, we have served 29 homed and unhomed men, women, and children and 5 dogs overnight. That is not including the many more throughout the day. We are not only providing shelter for those without a home, but also for those who's resources aren't enough to match the frigid temperatures.

Our greatest needs are starting to shift a little bit. Like I've already mentioned, we are starting to get bored, so things to help with that would be appreciated. With boredom, comes snacking... So we could use more snacky foods. Also on our list: Lysol spray, paper towels (not TP), canned vegetables, hamburger meat, butter, canned biscuits, and bread.

Reminder, we are unable to open the Kingdom Kloset (clothing closet) or receive clothing donations during this time.

Due to the forecasted temperatures expected for the next several days, Impact Center of Oklahoma will be extending emergency shelter 24/7 hours through Saturday, Jan 31 at 5:00pm and will continue to monitor and update accordingly. Unfortunately during this time, we are unable to open the Kingdom Kloset clothing closet, so it will remain closed until we resume back to normal operating hours. We are also unable to accept clothing donations during this time. Watch this page for updates.

Night 2 is in the books. So far, we have provided overnight shelter for 25 people, plus many more throughout the day. We are not only serving the unhomed, but there are many out there whose resources just aren't enough to beat this frigid weather. We have plenty of cots available so if you or someone you know is in need of a warm, safe, and temporary shelter there is room here.

The Impact Center of Oklahoma will be opening as a temporary shelter beginning Friday, 1/23 and remain open 24/7 through Tuesday, 1/27, 5pm. See below for details.

Due to the extreme weather expected to arrive this weekend, the Impact Center will open 24/7 as an emergency shelter beginning Friday, 1/23 at 9:00 am through Tuesday, 1/27 at 5:00pm, returning back to normal business hours on Wednesday. We will continue to watch this dangerous weather situation and update accordingly.

We have plenty of cots available so if you or someone you know is in need of a warm, safe, and temporary shelter there is room here. We are not only serving the unhomed, but there are many out there whose resources just aren't enough to beat this frigid weather.

The clothing closet (Kingdom Kloset) will be open normal business hours only, Monday-Friday, 2-5.

The Impact Center and Kingdom Kloset will be closed all day today, Tuesday Jan 6. We will reopen tomorrow with normal business hours. The Day center will ne open Mon-Fri, 9-5. The Kindgom Kloset (the clothing closet) will be open Mon- Fri, 2-5.

Impact Center of Oklahoma opened the Kingdom Kloset 4 years ago today. God has been in control of this entire ministry from the beginning and still continues to bless it daily. It began as a free clothing closet in a small building and then we moved about a year and a half later to our current location where we were able to expand our services. We now offer a day center, daily meals, a small food pantry, showers, self serve washer and dryer and more. We’ve helped over 300 (stopped counting a year ago) individuals apply for jobs, financial, housing and/or food assistance, obtain ID’s, birth certificates, SSN cards, enter mental health programs, rehab or sober living homes, temporary shelter and so much more. We serve an average of 50-80 people daily between the clothing closet and day center. We have had at least 25 churches, 15 ministries, and 20 businesses, and many private donors who support us through financial giving, volunteers, praying for and with individuals, offering Bible studies, providing and/or serving meals, donating food, providing goods/services, and so much more. We operate with a “do what we can with what we have” mindset. 1 Peter 4:8 “Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it” Our ministry might not be fancy or high-tech but we certainly do what we can with what we have. We’ve been met with both support and opposition. I have an amazing staff that is compassionate, kind-hearted, and demonstrates what it is to love like Jesus. I would never have imagined where we would be today, and I look forward to seeing where God leads us in the days to come.
