ROLLER'S SHOE SHOP

ROLLER'S SHOE SHOP My father, Raymond Roller started Roller's Shoe Shop in 1956. He loved his work and all the people very much. William Pollard, my dad's nephew worked with him!

It became a hangout for quite a few people and as a boy I remember so many of them.

wants to thank everyone for your friendship. We are up to 348 friends and that just humbles me especially since dad has been gone 32 years! Thanks everyone, Randy

Does anyone remember the special they did on Channel 5 about my dad and the store? It was in the fall of 1976. I would give anything for a copy of that film! It was back before VCRs so no way to copy it. I wonder if their archives go back that far? Probably not!:)

I really want to think everyone for all the very kind words and memories. It is really hard to believe my dad died over 30 years ago and I still have people tell me stories about him. He was only 50 years old. My sis and I are very thankful and humbled at the same time for such kind words! Randy Roller

Just to show how prices have changed since the 1970's, I will give you a example. I can remember my dad selling ( all leather and name brand) new cowboy boots for $10 a pair. Those same boots would cost well over $125 or more today. :)

I am looking for a picture of William Pollard (Sherri Pollard James dad) to post on this site. He is my dad's nephew and worked for him while I was growing up. If anyone has one please post it. Anyone with pictures that they would like to post, please do and I know a lot of my family are fans.:)

My dad's business Roller's Shoe Shop was part of Pulaski's community for 50 years. I am honoring him with this page. Would love to hear any stories?:)
