💛 A Little Pause for Family 💛

Bee Grace Sewing is temporarily on pause while I take some time to be with my family.

My great-grandmother is currently nearing the end of her life, and right now I want to slow down and spend as much time with her and my family as I can. ❤️

I will continue moving forward with projects that we have already discussed or started, so if we have already been talking about your project, you do not need to worry — I will still be in touch and working through those orders.

For the time being, I’m mainly taking a step back from new, larger custom projects. I will still be available for local hemming, alterations, and smaller seamstress work as my schedule allows.

I’m incredibly grateful for every order, message, referral, and person who has trusted me with their sewing projects. This business means so much to me, but right now I need to make room for something even more important — time with my family. ❤️

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support of my little business. I’ll update everyone when I’m ready to start taking on larger projects again.

“Why does one alteration cost more than another?”

It’s one of the questions I get asked the most!

The answer is simple: no two garments are the same. The cost of an alteration depends on the fabric, construction, the amount of work involved, and the time it takes to achieve a quality result.

As a one-person business, I take pride in giving every garment the time and attention it deserves. Unlike larger alteration shops where items may be handled by multiple people, every stitch, fitting, and final detail is completed by me. I believe quality is worth taking the time to do right.

Whether it’s hemming your favorite jeans, repairing a well-loved jacket, or tailoring a dress for a special occasion, my goal is to make sure your clothing fits beautifully and lasts for years to come.
