Refil is a brand that appeals to the intelligent urban fashion shopper with an eye for bold imagery. At times controversial, other times humorous, we've no question always remained FRESH. Sneakerheads, Hipsters, Sports Fans, Athletes, College students (with an affinity for beer pong) and those who love a little Herbal Essence every now and then are all represented through this brand. en it comes to society these days, whether through media and social networking, artist Royal Lee notices something others often overlook. Our apparent emptiness has masked by our need for materialistic objects: fame, s*x and money...and the attempts to portray this lifestyle to our peers. Refil is a reflection of what we've almost come to accept as the norm without question. The logo itself is dark: a skeleton hand holds a pill bottle with a caution label. It is a look at how our we've become dependent on various medications to solve all of our problems, as well as the potency and dependency on painkillers. Our hope is that Refil never actually becomes 'trendy' but remains a thoughtful, alternative brand to the trendwhorish design seen in other brands. Refil isn't going to change the world, and it wasn't created to...we just want you to see the machine for what it is. And look fresh while doing it.
