Grow The Breath:
From growing up “neurologically ramped up” (with what was later diagnosed as Tourette’s from youth to now, and seizures for a few years as an adult), I’ve had the opportunity to explore the importance and nature of the breath in its relation to the being I get to experience through.
Thanks to mindfulness and focused breathing I became able to process what were previously observed as tic inducing surges of awareness, in route to somewhere on their own volition, triggered by “stimuli-unknown” as an internal gps of sorts.
The more present I became with myself in the moments these surges were experienced, the more aware I became of the internal spaces I was in when these surges came about, and how I might be internalizing certain aspects of the stimuli at hand.
When in a questioning space within my internal dialogue, depending on the locale of the manifested energy, I grew to learn that intuitive nudges were coming in the form of affirmations and the opposite.
