As a reflection of my Greek roots and the deep desire for European summers, it was a no brainer to bring you elevated drinkable versions of some favorite Greek comfort desserts.
I remember making baklava with my own Yia Yia, sneaking bits of pistachio and phyllo while assembling the millions of layers. This latte version is pistachio-forward, brightened by honey, cinnamon, cardamom, and blossom water.
Loukoumades were an every day dessert on our honeymoon to Crete and Athens. They were the perfect late night-post drinking treat and the best indulgent breakfast doughnut. Tasting this matcha transports me to these moments. It couldn’t be a LoukouMatcha without cinnamon, orange, and vanilla sweetness.
