If you're looking for something to do on Juneteenth weekend, come hang out with us in Durham!

I'll be a vendor at the Freedom & Legacy Festival on Saturday, June 20 from 12 PM to 3 PM at Lakewood Shopping Center.

This event is all about celebrating culture, community, history, and Black excellence. There will be over 50 adult and youth vendors, food trucks, music by DJ Butta Brown, activities for the family, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to support local businesses.

Events like this are important because they create space for us to gather, support one another, celebrate our history and invest in our communities.

Come shop, eat, dance, connect, and celebrate with us. Bring your family, bring your friends and don't forget your shopping bag.

If the weather acts up too much, we’ll simply move indoors. Same area, same energy, same good time. We’ll make that final call tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Two new tees are stepping outside this month ✨

“In Every Lifetime” and “Healing Looks Good On Me” will officially debut at Darkness RISING this Saturday and honestly… these feel right on time.

One is rooted in pride, identity, and standing firm in who we are.
The other is a reminder that healing is not weakness, it is transformation.

Both are now available on the site if you cannot make the event, but if you will be at Darkness RISING, you’ll get to see them in person first 🖤 Well at least in these two colors, Deep Royal and Heather Purple.

Now excuse me while I keep pressing shirts and pretending I am not watching the clock while trying to prep for this market 😭

This Saturday I’ll be vending at Darkness Rising Live a block party centered around Black mental wellness, the arts, community care and joy.

This is the kind of event I’m excited to be part of because it’s not just about shopping. It’s about bringing people together in a space where wellness, creativity, resources, music, movement and community all get to exist in the same place.

There will be live performances, vendors, food trucks, wellness activities, community resources, kids activities, giveaways and plenty of reasons to come outside and be around good energy.

I’ll be there with Stuf & Junk Designs, bringing some new pieces, a fresh setup and probably the face of someone who made one too many last-minute decisions, but that’s vendor life at this point.

If you’re in the Raleigh area, come through, say hi and stop by my booth. I’d love to see you there.
