Prom season is in full swing. Thank you to all my regulars and their referrals to new cluents. Due to family medical needs, I am not able to accept any more alterations until after May first. What size prom dress should I get? Prom/Formal dresses are not sized like your every day clothing. For the best fit, measure your bust, waist and hips (Follow this video from Christine Johnson for help - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nfXawA5ie8r ) compare your measurements to the designers size chart - Each designer has a different formula to calculate sizes, especially those ordered from overseas. If in doubt or between sizes, order the next size larger - It is much easier to take in a dress, than to let out!
