It is a beautiful Thursday at the Mill House after some much needed wet weather finally has begun arriving in the Carolinas. It's been a little while since we have taken a good look at some of our fiber. Last time we really talked fibers, we introduced you to our Wool Mill Waste. You all loved it and we realized there was another opportunity to prevent more great wool from being waste and offer you quality fiber at a great value.

We've said it before and we'll say it again- here at the Mill House, we LOVE to see what happens to the fiber and yarn we sell. That moment came with a visit from Jeannie with while we were at H&H Americas. She knit these lovely gloves out of yarn spun up and dyed by . We're delighted to get to share the beautiful work with all of you as well!

Happy Friday from all of us here at the Mill House! The end of the School Year is closing in which means it's almost time for summer. Can you believe it? Us either, but we won't leave all the fun to the kids this Summer Break! With H&H behind us, we can move into preparations for our big event of the year- opening up the Mill to all of you as part of the NC Yarn Tour! Mark your calendars!
July 16-18 from 10am-6pm with tours at 11, 1, 3 and 5!

**Tours are 18+ July 16th and 17th due to mill operations. Hearing protection is provided. Close-toed Shoes are required**

The time has come again for another Mill House Monthly Blog post! April is coming to a close and with it comes the next installment of our Responsible Wool Standard Blog Series. Land Management 2.2- Fertilizers and Pesticides is a much shorter and more easily managed slice of information and a great way to wrap up for a short break in the series to give our brains a break before the last segment. The Mill House team is wrapping up preparations for our adventure to Chicago! That's right, it's already nearly time for the next event of the season. We are going to be back at H&H Americas again this year and we can't wait to share this next adventure with you. If you're going to be at the event, stop by booth 147 in the exhibition hall! We're right by the cosplays and the Spinning and Weaving Pavillion.
