Have you ever been somewhere so beautiful it quietly undoes you?

That's Lake Molveno, tucked in the Brenta Dolomites of northern Italy.

Thrive Ministry hosts retreats in places like this — for North American women serving in ministry overseas. Four days of worship, Scripture, prayer, self-care, and connection with women who carry the same calling and the same weariness.

Between 20-75 women gather, and what happens there is genuinely life-giving. Spiritual, emotional, and physical restoration. A chance to breathe. To be held, not just hold others.

There's something that happens when women in ministry finally find each other.

A recognition. A relief. A holy kind of exhale.

Thrive retreats create that space — gathering 20 to 75 women who are serving overseas for four days of genuine restoration. Worship, counseling, prayer, Scripture, self-care, and community with people who understand the particular weight of life on the field.

The Lake Molveno retreat is set against the stunning backdrop of the Italian Dolomites — mountains meeting water, beauty meeting weariness, and grace meeting need.

We made it to Venice! 🌿

And yes, we came a couple of days early to hike and soak in the beauty before the retreat begins.

In just a few days, I'll be partnering with fellow volunteers for the Thrive Ministry Retreat in the Dolomites, a 5-day gathering designed to help global workers find genuine rest and restoration. People who have been faithfully serving, often far from home, often without a real pause. This retreat is for them.

The Dolomites feel like the perfect place for it. There is something about mountains that reminds you of what is steady and enduring when everything else feels uncertain.

I am so grateful for the privilege of doing this work. And I am looking forward to what these five days will hold for each person who joins us.
