A super bittersweet post 🥹

I feel so much gratitude for this entire experience. I got to open a beautiful storefront, have my sweet daughter here, grow to be like family with - AND I get to go pursue another business I love with my husband.

We celebrated one year of the storefront last week 🎉

When I found out I was pregnant just a week after signing the storefront lease, I was filled with doubt. Doubt about my capacity to be a business owner and a mom, financial doubt, doubt about if I had made the right decision for my family.

One year later, I can look back and say the timing was immaculate and perfectly out of my control.

They say raising a baby takes a village, and I truly believe this business has added to my village. I meet the sweetest mamas, Emmie is constantly greeted with kindness and smiles at the store, and I’m so lucky to get to raise my girl in a place I love.

and I having babies just 3 months apart has become such a normal part of our everyday, I sometimes forget what a blessing it is. The atmosphere and community we’ve created here is like no other. This store is filled with joy, baby giggles, support, the occasional tears, and a lot of caffeine.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Here’s to many more years of business 🥹 (but a little while before any more babies) 🤣
