Stop making things harder for yourself! Here are our best tips so you can make sure you’re having the bridal appointment you deserve.

1. Bring the right people- everyone wants to be there when you find “the one” but too many voices can become confusing. Bring a few people you know are going to help you feel your best, and support the look that feels most like YOU.

2. Stop expecting the worst- Love Curvy is built for brides like you. We work with women with all different body types. Our samples come in a variety of sizes from 20-26 and our stylists are there to help you feel comfortable and confident!

3. Know your budget-we have options in a wide range of prices, but knowing how much you want to invest in your dress helps stylists pull choices that are attainable.

4. Shop a year before your wedding- with special order gowns taking approximately 4-9 months to produce, shopping a year before your wedding day is ideal. If your wedding is less than a year out, you still have plenty to choose from! However, your options will be a little more limited.

5. Save any inspiration- it’s great to come in with an open mind, but having a general direction for how you want to feel is super helpful! Stylists love seeing what you love. It helps us get to know you, and lead you to a gown that feels like you and fits with the vibe of your wedding.

6. Wear the right undergarments- Light in color is always best, and if you plan on wearing shapewear for your big day, feel free to bring it! We encourage you to try on without a bra, but ultimately, whatever you’re comfortable with is most important.

7. Bring family heirlooms- If you know you’d like to incorporate a special element in your final wedding look such as jewelry or a veil, please bring it along! Whether it’s something borrowed or something old, we would love to help you envision these sentimental accessories with the dress you love.

8. Let yourself have fun- this is an exciting time! We want you to give yourself permission to feel joy, and consider the best case scenario. Our stylists are ready to make this experience easy and fun. We can’t wait to celebrate you exactly as you are!
