Thought I’d hop on here and give an update since we haven’t posted since December.

We have a few projects we are working on currently for graduates from headstart to college! Yayyy! 👨🏽‍🎓👩🏽‍🎓

Summer time gets very busy for us but feel free to reach out and message us if you have questions or wanting a project done! 🌸

These are skirts I made for a trade and the flashy one w the flower appliqué was for a waffle I held! -KT

I'm not the best seamstress nor have me and my cousin ever claimed to be. We are young and STILL learning. I do appliqué way better then sewing. So it's just kind of funny when I hear things being said about us especially when it's from older women.
Thanks for the constructive criticism (what I'm taking it as) one day I hope to be as great as my Grandmother was. She did teach a few women I used too look up to and even taught classes to some before. It's trial and error and I do have a lot of learning to do when it comes to sewing.
But I recently attempted and completed my very first baby ribbon skirt For Harleigh Raye, my baby niece.
Not the best by far but like I said I am still learning and I have years for improvement 🥰😌

Orange broad cloth back drop with our seal and yellow fringe. I put this together yesterday to match my camp dress and it turned out pretty good.

(Another item we’ve added can be made w appliqué and without same applies to the fringe and seal.)

My favorite thing about doing these projects is knowing I have my cousin Tamira with me. Shes a year younger but she teaches me a lot as well and where she lacks I’m there to help or at least try as much as I can. She’s the seamstress out of us. I do all the putting together and it’s so amazing seeing all the projects come together from start to finish ❤️

Hąwe pi! My name is Kayley Tah-DeLodge. I had other plans for this page but I decided to collaborate with my cousin Tamira Primeaux. Her and I are the eldest granddaughters of the late Julia Tah (Moore). She was an amazing Otoe seamstress. We created this page to show our progress and what projects we take on. We are still learning and we only hope to be as great as our Grandmother one day. She created the Otoe Sewing Circle. We are doing our best to continue to create and carry on all that she taught us.
