I believe it would be helpful for me to explain why I choose witchcraft as the right path for me. This will not only help people understand the beauty of the craft, but it may even inspire others to begin their own journey 💕
Here are a few of the top reasons I was drawn towards witchcraft
1. Witchcraft does not require that I understand the truth or the divine in order to connect with the divine or my higher purpose. There are so many belief systems in the world that for most of my life, I was too overwhelmed to explore the more spiritual aspects of myself. As such, for most of my life, my confusion has been a barrier to fully connecting with the universe. When I learned about Witchcraft, this barrier was taken away. To be a witch, I do not have to have a defined belief system and am free to explore all aspects of spirituality that I am drawn to.
2. Witchcraft supports me as a whole person and values my unique abilities. In witchcraft, we are not only pushed to find or create our own path based on our unique callings and abilities, but we are invited to love, accept, and explore ourselves through self-reflection, mindfulness, and ritual. In this way, witchcraft both embraces the uniqueness of all beings and surrounds those who practice in love.
3. As part of the divine, it just makes sense that we each possess a small part of their divine power. The way in which the divine works through people is already evident in all religions. This can take the form of prayer, ritual, or blessings. Even in secular activities such as manifestations and day-to-day interactions, our intention influences how events play-out in the physical world. There are even scientific experiments outlining this phenomenon! These occurrences demonstrate our ability to influence the world through our intention and our connection with the divine.
