This is one of the best heavyweight fabrics that we have ever sourced! Woven in Italy, our exclusive Alpine Loden is exceptionally warm, comfortable, and practical. Your custom garments will offer years of faithful service, and they can be crafted across our full range of in-house styles and sizes.

For centuries, Loden wool has been woven in Tirol - the mountainous region between Italy and Austria. This rugged cloth is often considered to be one of the first performance fabrics, as its finishing process made it uniquely resistant against cold and wetness.

For this exclusive project, we’ve sourced an exceptional and modern iteration of this storied fabric. Its standout features include:   1) Woven in Italy in an 18oz blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon.

2) Compared to traditional Loden, Alpine Loden is lighter, more durable, and more wind resistant. It protects against light moisture from drizzling or snow.

3) It’s very comfortable. Traditional Loden is quite coarse, and many wool-nylon blends are rigid.Alpine Loden has a nice hand and a wonderful drape.

Custom Jackets Are Back in Los Angeles!

Our sales in Doyle and Sinclair jackets are better than ever. We’ve done tons of stock orders, and made many beautiful pieces at RTC.

We’re thrilled to expand this program with our all-new Made in Los Angeles custom Doyles and Sinclairs. These jackets have great prices, exclusive fabrics, length customizations, and a four week turnaround. We’re committed to this time frame!

We’ll collect orders the first week of every month and ship them the first week of the following month. The fabric lineup will constantly evolve and change.

Each jacket is handled by only three people. Fabric is selected by Eva, cut by Jorge, and sewn by Juan. Everything is done from start to finish in LA.

Sleeve length and body length can be modified in 0.5” increments. Chest sizes from 34 to 48 are available. Monograms are available for the interior pocket.

Milled in Japan, our 13oz Rope Dyed Indigo Sashiko is a comfortable year-round cotton that’s designed to fade beautifully with use. Our rope dyed yarns are twisted into thick ropes and plunged into repetitive cycles of dye and oxidation.

This method saturates the outer fibers but leaves a natural “core” on the inside. As you wash and wear the garment, the surface dye fades, and the inner core shows through, yielding a rich 3-dimensional patina.

The Kamigata is our take on the traditional Japanese farmer’s jacket. In keeping with its inspiration, it has a banded shawl placket and a square bottom.

We’ve added additional functionality with hip besom pockets, plain cuffs, and a hidden interior button that allows you to close the jacket in front. You can wear it with the sleeves down or rolled up. Button the jacket to wear it like a cardigan or leave it open.
