I had the opportunity to make a special shirt for a repeat customer. She asked if I could create a shirt for a friend who had just become a grandmother.

I was happy to help bring her idea to life using my Cricut! ❤️

I love projects like this because they're all about celebrating important moments and the people we love. Whether I'm creating memory animals, blankets, ornaments, or custom shirts, it's always rewarding to make something meaningful for someone else.

Today would have been my mother-in-law's birthday. Although she left us in 2022, she is still deeply loved and remembered every single day.

To honor her, I engraved an angel ornament that she had bought before she passed away and with my Cricut, I engraved her name and the years she was with us. I also created and made a "Happy Birthday in Heaven" card using my Cricut. Creating these little keepsakes is my way of keeping her memory close and celebrating the life she lived.

I made these to share with my husband as we remember and celebrate her. ❤️

Grief doesn't end—it simply changes, and we all find our own ways to remember the people we miss most.

Today, we're celebrating her birthday from here, while imagining the celebration she's having up in Heaven. 🎂👼✨

Sometimes the smallest handmade treasures carry the biggest memories. Today, this one means the world to me and enjoying other types of crafts that I also love to do.

Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest difference ✂️✨

I recently worked on a romper (a one-piece outfit with shorts attached underneath) and had planned to add snaps at the bottom to make it easier to use. But after thinking it through, we decided to turn it into a dress instead—and it turned out sew cute! 🪡

The best part? It can still be paired with shorts underneath for extra comfort and length when needed, so it has several options. 💕

Moments like this remind me how much I truly love sewing and what I do. Whether I’m creating memory animals, blankets and ornaments that hold deep meaning, or helping by adjusting clothing to make it fit better—it’s always an honor to help people in ways that matter 🧵❤️

🐢💚 Guess what… I got to do again!.

I applied to be a pattern tester for a company i tested for before and was SO excited when I found out I got it — especially because the pattern was a sea turtle (my daughter absolutely loves sea turtles 🐢).

Getting to bring this little guy to life was such a special experience, and it made it even more meaningful knowing how much it would mean to her.

And one of the best parts? I even got to take him to the beach with us over spring break for a little photo shoot — which felt like the perfect way to celebrate finishing him.

This is the final result, and I couldn’t be happier with how he turned out ✨ Thank you, Rena Dearden, for creating a wonderful pattern and I loved being a tester!!🧵🪡

Some projects mean just a little bit more 💛

A bus driver I work with recently asked me to create three special memory bears for some boys who lost their aunt. Of course, I said yes.

We took time choosing the details together—settling on a beautiful sunflower design 🌻 along with names that were meaningful to them. I shared a few options along the way, including embroidery and vinyl examples, to make sure everything felt just right.

I also sent updates throughout the process—from the finished embroidery to the pieces all cut out and ready to be sewn—because projects like this deserve extra care and thought every step of the way.

It’s truly an honor to create something that brings comfort, love, and a lasting connection to someone so special.

Happy National Quilting Day 🧵❤️

Quilting isn’t just for full-size quilts — it’s a technique I can use on many different projects to add texture and a handmade touch.

Today I wanted to share two quilted pieces I’ve made that aren’t quilts, but still show how special quilting can be.

The first is an American flag wall hanging that stays on the wall in my sewing space. I quilted down the middle of each stripe to give the flag more dimension.

❤️ The second is a memory pillow cover made from meaningful fabrics for a customer. I quilted along the lines where each piece of fabric comes together to form the heart pattern for the front of the pillow. The quilting adds detail while keeping the memories the focus and giving the pillow extra stability.

Quilting can turn fabric into something that tells a story, holds memories, and becomes part of someone’s home.
