It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge that our beloved Kitty Boy must have gone to Heaven. His absence is now weeks long and our hope has left the building 💔

His disappearance preceded the death of Missy's cat, Bugsy, by only about a week and a half. The blow has been profound. Two homes missing their fur babies, two hearts devastated... all within a few weeks 😔

The loss is huge. We know animal lovers everywhere can relate 🧡

These vintage sets are harder and harder to come by... especially in all original embroidered vinyl, and in such great shape 😍

These timeless are increasingly showing up in bad condition and so they end up being custom jobs with all new design, and leather work to make them shine ✨️

But when the companion pieces are still so good, I just wish they would sell together 🫶🏼

Who needs some OG in classic ⁉️

And now for some good news 🥹

Yesterday I got an email from someone shopping at double take Santa Fe who did an image search of one of these Linda Lucy Lunde pieces, only to find it amongst our STOLEN inventory list online at LuckyStarGallery.com‼️

➡️ Recap: **For those of you who don't know, our cargo trailer full of western collectibles was stolen from us in June of 2024 when we were in Santa Fe, NM with the expectation of doing the Old West Events show... which never ended up happening 😵

After the good Samaritan shopper reached out with this information I immediately contacted Double Take, an infamous shop where I, myself, have been a customer innumerable times. The manager there, gracious and helpful, pulled the small artwork from the showroom floor and told me he would look into it. Today he sent word that he recovered another one 😍

Without hesitation the manager told me they would take both pieces out to be shipped back to us 📦

True, that out of a cargo trailer full of vintage and antique goods we have only recovered maybe 10 items, but each of them is a small miracle highlighting the goodness in humanity 🙌🏼

And though the actual thieves may never be caught, we rest assured that revenge is the Lord's, and Karma is a _____ (bad word 😉

All of these recovered pieces have endured the traumatic experience with us, and therefore will never again be for sale. Instead they are our long lost friends, finding their way back home 💘

It's been a tough month for us, personally 💔

A couple of a weeks ago my mom's cat, Kitty Boy, disappeared, without a trace. He was old and mostly deaf, and there's zero chance he just went on an adventure, because he spent most of his time sleeping 😿

Today my own cat, Bugsy, who is approx 17yo seems to be looking at the rainbow bridge with plans to cross it 🌈

So many of you love our shop cat, Moxie, and a few of you have even had the chance to spot our resident feral cat, Frilly, who lives under the barn building in the salvage yard. But, like bona fide cat people do, we have cats at work and cats at home and sometimes even cats away from home 🐈🐈‍⬛😻

Grief is the price you pay for love, and as hard as it is, it's worth it, every time 💘

That time we away'ed to and booked a room at the and didn't realize which room until we opened the drapes 😍

Morning coffee gazing upon was one of my life's happiest accidents 🙌🏼

Happen upon a here at The Vassar House today and tomorrow for 20% off storewide INCLUDING the Trading Post jewelry cases (this never happens!). Then outside in the Salvage Yard get 50% off everything as we gear up for shutting it down for the season 😃
