A little milestone for Adeline + Ember

My products have officially gone overseas! Last month, Gardenland Books took the custom garden stakes I created for Judith's characters to the RHS Sandringham Flower Show in England.

Even more exciting? King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited the show!

It's amazing to think something made in my studio traveled across the world. Grateful for opportunities like this and excited to see where Adeline + Ember goes next!

I'm honored to share that earlier last month I received my Certified Member plaque from the Renton Chamber of Commerce!

As a new business owner, becoming part of the Renton Chamber has been one of the best decisions I've made for Adeline + Ember. The connections, encouragement, educational opportunities, and genuine support from fellow members have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Starting a business can feel overwhelming at times, but being surrounded by a community that truly wants to see local businesses succeed has made all the difference.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Renton Chamber for the warm welcome and for everything you do to support small businesses. I'm excited to continue building relationships, serving our community, and seeing what the future holds!

One year ago today, Adeline + Ember became more than just an idea. It became a dream I was finally brave enough to chase.

What a year it has been.

Over the last 12 months, I've learned more than I ever imagined about running a business, laser engraving, marketing, photography, pricing, taxes, shipping, social media, networking, and wearing what feels like a hundred different hats. There have been moments of excitement, moments of doubt, and plenty of lessons learned along the way. Every challenge has made me a better business owner and every success has reminded me why I started.

I've had the privilege of creating personalized gifts that celebrate milestones, honor loved ones, support local organizations, and become part of so many meaningful moments. Knowing something I created will be treasured is the greatest reward.

I couldn't have made it through this first year without the incredible people who believed in me. Thank you to every customer who placed an order, every friend and family member who shared a post, every fellow small business owner who offered advice, every networking group that welcomed me, and everyone who encouraged me when things felt overwhelming. Your support has meant more than you know.

And we're not slowing down.

Year two is starting with a BIG milestone as Adeline + Ember moves into a brand-new studio! Having a dedicated creative space has been a dream from the beginning, and I can't wait to share behind-the-scenes updates as I build it into a place where even more ideas come to life.

This first year laid the foundation.

The second year is where we build something extraordinary.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to another year of creating meaningful, personalized pieces inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
