It's officially Christmas Day, and since a very special order has been given to its intended recipient, I'm allowed to post pictures of this.

This was a custom-made rifle stock cover for a very old Marlin 30-30. Trichelle Jennings comissioned me to make it for her son, Brendon. I collaborated with Steven over at Make It Personal for the laser engraving. Trichelle sent him handwriting examples, and he essentially generated a custom font package in Brendon's Papa's handwriting to say "Love Papa," and even added his signature. This was a "first of its kind" sort of thing for me, and it was so fun to make. I am so happy with how it turned out, and it's always nice when your customer cries when you deliver their order.

Alright, the 2nd and final day of the Fall Mini Show at Guesthouse Boutique in Republic. Open today until 4PM. Good morning Ozarks and surrounding area! I know there are some pretty huge craft festivals going on, and the Makers Market is definitely a smaller one, but there are some great vendors out here, and there's also fun for the whole family at County Line Farm today. Come out, pick some pumpkins, navigate a corn maze, shoot some pumpkins out of a cannon, and buy some leather goods from your favorite bearded leather artisan! 10AM to 6PM*

Overall, it has been a good day at the Makers Market. I didn't sell out on day 1, which obviously was never going to happen, but I also didn't go without a sale, which was nice. Still an hour and a half left to come down to County Line Farm and check out the Makers Market tonight, and I will be here tomorrow from 10 to 7 tomorrow as well.
