Is this message more or less relevant today?

This is a post made by our founder all the way back in 2021.

Please take the time to listen to it.

We must unite.

True patriotism has the power to do that unlike almost anything else.

The American flag belongs to us…We The People… Not the government or politicians.

This country was built from rebellion against a system that sought to take the freedom of every individual away from them and the ability for those individuals to recognize this, compromise and build a great nation rooted in freedom and strength of the people by the people and for the people.

Our voices matter.

Our choices matter.

Our decisions matter.

Somewhere along the line, they convinced us they don’t…

And slowly, the attack on true patriotism has made many feel like they can’t love their country and their people if those people don’t believe exactly what they believe.

And with that weapon of division, we have once again become a captive people.

And it even just our country…. But the world as a whole.

Mostly, unfortunately by our own design.

But it’s not too late to change that.

We believe we can be that change.

OPG Family — we need to rally together for one of our own.

Many of you know Caitlin, but may of you don’t.

Caitlin has been a part of this family for a long time — for years. Caitlin is truly OPG through and through. And while we haven’t seen her as much lately on our calls or in the feed, it’s not because she’s drifted away or lost interest.

The reality is: Caitlin has been battling significant health issues that have held her back — not just from our community, but from life in general.

Caitlin has been facing multiple serious medical conditions including Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (tetraplegic), an immune deficiency, autism, and several other complications. She was also recently diagnosed with multiple bilateral pulmonary embolisms, which has significantly worsened her health.

At this point, Caitlin is primarily dependent on a power wheelchair, requires 24/7 caregiving, frequent medical appointments, and has been hospitalized almost monthly over the last two years. Without reliable accessible transportation, she is effectively homebound — often bedbound — and reliant on oxygen.

This is why Jess, one of our Team Freedom leaders, started a GoFundMe to help Caitlin get what she urgently needs: a safe, fully accessible vehicle so she can attend medical care, regain independence, and have a life beyond four walls.

Caitlin has some funds set aside and is applying for a grant, but she still needs to raise $20,000–$25,000 to cover the vehicle and required accessibility modifications.

This isn’t about convenience — it’s a medical necessity.

And this is exactly what family is for.
