I’ve created this account to show a little of what I do for my lovely brides, and as a bit of a portfolio for potential clients.
It saddens me when keyboard warriors feel the need to state that a design was better before any adjustment, or comment on any assumption about my client and changes that the client requested.
Most of my brides come to me because I specialize in altering their gowns to cover sacred under garments, or to help them feel more beautiful on THEIR special day with a design that THEY want executed.
Because of our somewhat rural location, it can sometimes be challenging to find the right material in close proximity (and within quick deadlines!). Sometimes design decisions are made to intentionally use portions of a gown (like the train) in order to have the right material, lace, or any other reason.

In the words of Thumper, ”if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”. I’ll never understand the need for men and women to put others down just because of a different opinion or life experience. Let’s just be kind humans and build each other up or move along. My target audience may not be for everyone, and that’s ok. ☺️
