A recent customer finish. All the fabrics have music notes and symbols on them, even the white. The quilting design is called Dueling Notes. The minky on the back makes this quilt so snuggly!

This quilt is a special order on my website. I can make it in any color just for you!

No sewing today, yet. I picked a bowl of fresh raspberries in my garden. I had to pull out some from the freezer to have enough to make a batch of raspberry pie filling. 😋😋😋

Workshop Update

We are so close to the end, I can taste it. We are waiting (still) for some custom cabinets to be built. Then the flooring can be installed. After that comes the trim and then inspections. I am so excited to be in this new space! I am also exhausted! I can’t get any work done during the day. My youngest child isn’t old enough to tend herself. I have used up all her patience dragging her to “work” with me. I have been trying to go to work when my husband gets home and stay late into the night, or is it early into the morning? 🤔 I am behind and I hate that feeling. I try not to promise quit deadlines I can’t keep. Hopefully once I get moved in, I will be able to catch up and my turnaround times will be back to their usual two weeks.

A recent customer quilt all finished. The quilting design she picked out is called Flower Puff. It looks good and it only a penny and a quarter per square inch! It is a very popular design. Did you know I have a website with *almost* all my quilting designs listed, organized by price? There is a 🔗 in my bio.

This quilt was a wedding gift. The great grandmother of the bride pieced it together, I quilted it, and the grandma of the bride put the binding on. It is a beautiful heirloom!

Well, not much sewing or quilting going on here. We are moving stuff around and getting the old sewing studio converted to the new music studio. Very exciting! School will start before I know it and I will be back to teaching piano lessons. We got it painted last night and the piano movers are coming today. The new sewing studio is not quite finished yet. It is so close! I cry a little every day just wishing I could move in already. Swipe to see some before pictures of what the sewing studio used to look like.

What a beautiful quilt and a stunning design! My customer chose this quilting design called Demure and is from the Longarm League. It wins the award for the most bobbins used on a quilt: 15! It was a very large quilt and a very small design.

These cute kittens!! They are just so adorable, much better than actual cats! 😂 The quilting design my customer chose is called Hearts. It looks good on everything. What a sweet birthday present it will be!
