Hey guys, it’s me — Jill
If you’ve ever walked into Bang for Your Buck and thought, “How does she find all this stuff, and how are the prices this good?” Well, let me pull back the curtain a little and tell you how it all works.
Bang for Your Buck is a liquidation store, which basically means I hunt down pallets of products that come from major retailers. These items are typically returns, clearance, overstock, shelf pulls, or packaging changes... perfectly good stuff that just didn’t fit into a big box store’s plan anymore.
And yes… I literally go treasure hunting for it.
Every week or two, I hop in the car and head down to the Twin Cities, digging through pallet warehouses to find the best buys for the shop. I don’t just grab anything, though - I’m picky. I look for items I’d actually want in my own home or buy for my own family.
That means you’ll always find a mix of: Household essentials (big and small), furniture pieces, tons of outdoor furniture right now (get ready for summer), kids and baby items, cosmetics and personal care, and of course… clothes of all kinds.
Right now, my little boutiquey store has moved into the old Claire's location is fully stocked. During the holidays, I was in a much larger space here at Cedar Mall at Rice Lake and honestly didn’t have enough inventory to fill it the way I wanted. Now? I’ve got the opposite problem — lots of product and more coming all the time.
That’s why I need you to come in and help me move some of this great stuff out, so I can make room for the next round of pallets and fresh finds.
🔥 Bang of the Week! 🔥
This week at Bang for Your Buck, we’re clearing out all winter jackets for just $34.99. That includes jackets originally priced at $200–$300, now marked down to $34.99. You’ll find name brands like Eddie Bauer, Whet Blu, London Fog, and more, some of them pictured below. And we have larger sizes too. When they’re gone, they’re gone, so this is a deal you don’t want to miss.
Because here’s the best part:
Buying liquidation pallets allows me to price items up to 60% off retail and sometimes even more. That’s the whole idea behind Bang for Your Buck. Real deals. Real value. No gimmicks.
We are now open with our new hours Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
You’ll find me tucked inside Rice Lake’s Cedar Mall, in the old Claire’s location, next to the fountain. Inventory changes constantly, so every visit is a little different, and once something’s gone, it’s usually gone for good.
Thanks for shopping small, supporting local, and helping me keep the hunt going. I can’t wait to see you in the store 💛
