It breaks my heart to hear that South China is planning to close its doors. Both of us spent many years working there, so this one hits close to home. It’s more than just a restaurant. It’s a place that has supported countless families, filled so many bellies, and been part of so many memories for all of us over the years.

I don’t want to just sit back and watch that happen. Let’s come together as a community and show them how much they mean to our valley. If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal there, now is the time to give back.

Let’s spread the word, pack that restaurant and remind them why they’ve been such an important part of our community. If enough of us show support, maybe we can impact them enoughto stay.

✏️ School Supply Swap! 📚�

We just filled the bottom drawer of the fridge with some of the wonderful school supply donations we have received! ✏️�

If you have extra school supplies in new or gently used condition, we’d love to give them a second life! Donations can be left in the tote behind the library anytime.

If you want to contribute by purchasing a few extra supplies for the fridge, Walmart has colored pencils and markers for $.50, notebooks for $.35, and crayons for $.25 right now. ❤️�

Please only take what you need and leave what you can for the next family. We hope this makes getting ready for a new school year just a little bit easier! ✨
