Ever have one of those mornings where you think “man, things are going so well today… wonder what’s going to mess that up?”

That was me this morning! Decided to start cutting this SUPER CUTE print (seriously, perfect baby gift!!), got the first one sewn, took some photos and thought… something isn’t quite right here. Totally put ten yards of fabric together backwards 😩 Should have known this week would have some bumps! tell me your “did I really just do that” moment to make me feel better 😂

We get it — it’s freezing outside and those big fluffy coats are tempting. But when it comes to car seats, bulky jackets and thick coats can actually put kids at risk.

Here’s why 👇
❄️ Puffy coats create extra space in the harness
❄️ In a crash, that padding compresses
❄️ Straps that felt “tight” suddenly aren’t

The safer move:
✔️ Buckle kids in snug without the bulky coat
✔️ Do the “pinch test” — no slack means you’re good
✔️ Then place the coat or a blanket over the harness

Cold kids = uncomfortable
Loose car seats = dangerous
