This morning, our thoughts and prayers are with the Chesterfield County Police, the two officers who were shot in the line of duty yesterday, their families, fellow first responders, and loved ones

We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of CCPDโ€™s K9 officers, Officer Knight, who passed away this morning as a result of this incident. The courage and sacrifice shown by both officers and their K9 partner remind us of the risks our law enforcement community faces each day while protecting others.
