We’ve discussed the importance of choosing the right style of thread this month.
This is exactly what we’ve been preaching.
The navy (Coats) on the left is straight wound. The green on the right is cross wound (Mettler)
If your machine has a horizontal spool pin, it’s going to sew better with cross wound thread.
We can help you work with what you have with some creative ideas but using the thread your machine is designed for will work better in the long run.
