On Friday, June 12, we’ll host “An Evening of Music in Architecture” with architect and musician James Ray Polk and The Mississippi Sawyers. Set in The Art Garden at MMA, this special concert celebrates the connection between music, design, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy.

All proceeds support the restoration of Fountainhead.

Picnic baskets are available for purchase online until June 10. Doors open at 7 PM. The concert begins at 7:30 PM. Register today.

Swedish Sculptural Beech Lounge Chair c.1950s | Available is a restored vintage mid-century Swedish modern lounge chair manufactured in Sweden, circa 1950s-60s.

This architecturally scaled high-back easy chair has been professionally restored with new foam, support straps, and premium period-appropriate Main Line Flax upholstery by Camira Fabrics

The warm beech frame retains its clean Scandinavian modern lines, while the muted olive wool-flax textile complements the chair’s refined organic form. The multi-tonal olive fabric features subtle notes of blue, yellow, and navy, creating a rich yet understated palette characteristic of Scandinavian modern interiors.
