Good morning everyone! Happy Saturday! We are so very excited for the swap next Saturday! We just have one small favor, between my accident and Carissa's knee surgery we haven't been able to sort out all the donations. We would like to ask for some help with sorting this week. Please let us know if you are able to come help us sort!

Hi everyone, Samm here, to let you guys know what's been going on (at least with me).
Back on May 23rd, last day of school in Effingham, I was in a very serious car accident. A lot of you probably saw it on Facebook in one page or another. This accident caused A LOT of injuries. I was in the hospital from May 23rd to June 17th. After that I was moved to a rehab location and wasn't discharged until July 8th. Currently I have been living at my grandma's house because I cannot walk. My house Is a two story house and My bedroom is on the second floor.
There are a lot of damages to my body. I had surgery on both my legs, both my arms, my hip, my pelvis and my spine, including my ribs. Because of all that they did surgery on pretty much everything I listed above. Now, I have a brace on my right leg, Which makes it where I can't bend my knee so that's been fun. I have one brace on each arm, which helps me not rotate, my wrist as much and finally I have a brace for my spine.
I'm not telling you all this for sympathy, or anything like that. I'm just letting you guys know why I haven't been very active and why I probably will not be at the next swap. I have been wheelchair bound, so it's really hard for me to get into a vehicle or two pretty much do anything. Technically, I haven't even been approved to walk yet. I can only pivot from wheelchair to bed or wheelchair to chair.
I will say this, however, I will always accept prayers because this I would not wish on anyone and this was the first time in my life. I've ever broken a bone, and apparently The universe decided that I had to break practically all of them at once.

A little bit about the accident. I was driving home and a dump truck got into my lane and hit me head on, and that's where all the injuries came from. We are currently working with a lawyer to get everything settled out. I don't remember the accident at all. It's a completely blank slate. I had to have my husband tell me most of it and then a friend of mine tell me the rest of it, that they knew.

Carissa and Tiffany are still working very hard for this swap to happen. Even though i'm not there in person, I will be working hopefully as much as I can on the Online side of the page. Honestly, it all depends on the level of pain i'm in.

Hi everyone, so we sadly have not received a lot of donations since January to host a swap this month. We feel that we might need to push it back one more month to give people time to go through their kid's closets (spring cleaning) for donations. This will also give us time to secure a location. Sorry for the last minute cancellation. We just can't exactly host a swap with nothing to bring to the swap.

Hey everyone we are hoping to have our next clothing swap on April 13th. We are working with The Hive Repertory Theatre LLC - Rincon, GA and waiting to hear from them to see where their new location is going to be in March. We are still accepting donations at 111 Middleton Drive Rincon GA 31326.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our First Kid's Clothing Swap !!! We are so overwhelmed with all the love and support from all of you! Thank you also to The Hive Repertory Theatre LLC - Rincon, GA for letting us have our swap at your location! Just wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone who has donated something for our first Swap! We have SO MANY donations we are running out of room to hold them all, but that isn't stopping us! We have multiple Bags filled with clothes for sizes that were overflowing from our bins. We are still looking for more totes as always. I am super excited for Saturday!!!4

Thank you so much to Coastal Kids Market for all the donations they gave us for our first clothing swap! We are so grateful for all the donations! Took us the entire day to sort through it all, but it was so much fun seeing all the amazing donations!

We are so excited!

We are still looking for more totes to hold the clothes, but I think we are almost ready for next Saturday!

Also if anyone is interested in helping out/volunteering with us, please let us know!
