Spring is here! It is warming up here in Rio Rancho, and it won’t be long before I can bead on my patio with my new fountain built by my husband. I love the sound of water splashing.

I applied for and was invited to participate in a show in Colorado over Labor Day weekend. Since I almost sold out of earrings in Tubac, Arizona in February, I really need to focus on getting a lot of earrings made. Also, if you are ever in Tubac, my earrings are for sale year-round at the Desert Rose Gallery and Gifts.

I completed my most recent 1-of-a-kind wearable art necklace and earrings, Queen’s Jewels. I started it in Tubac in February and want to share it with you. I had fun creating the 3-D design and the photos illustrate its complexity. The crystal at the center of the pendant is available in my Etsy shop along with other colors and patterns. https://www.etsy.com/shop/enchantedbeadsbyjm/

Good Morning,
I am very happy to announce the release of my new kit, Copper Bear 2022. It is available in my Etsy shop (link below). The delay in posting is the result of vetting by three of my bead buddies. Many thanks to Pam, Bonnie, and Charlotte. Based on their feedback, I redid a couple of sections of instructions and I believe the wait was well worth it. Copper Bear is designed for beaders with intermediate to advanced experience with single drop pe**te stitch. The kit contains everything you need to make the bear but it does not include thread and needles. I used 6 # Fireline and size 11 needle. There are enough beads to make up to a 24" rope, the bear (2.5"tall x 2.5"wide), a front panel and 3 small strands of fringe that hang over the front of the bear, and one pair of earrings. The cost of the kit is $77.50 plus postage. As always, I welcome your feedback, suggestions and questions.
Happy beading,
June

Hello, Friends. Happy 2022 and I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and doing well.

My New Year resolution is to make regular updates to Facebook to show you what I have been working on.

Let me start with a necklace I just finished in December. This is a piece that I have named Radiant Glory. The focal bead in this necklace is a 35mm crystal stone and is one example of the line of crystals I have added to my Etsy shop: EnchantedBeadsbyJM.etsy.com.

Radiant Glory will be for sale at the Tubac Festival of the Arts in Tubac, AZ February 9 through February 13, 10am-5pm. The show is outdoors and
presents the work of over 200 artists.

Hello Fellow Beaders,

This is an overdue update.

ART SHOW NEXT WEEK
I will once again be at the Tubac Festival of the Arts in Tubac, AZ next week February 5-9, 10am-5pm. Tubac is about an hour south of Tucson, so if you are in the area come on down.

CLASSES
I will be teaching two classes at the Bead and Button Show in Milwaukee.
Sunday, May 31: In the Garden, 8am-4pm, See attached
photo on the left.
Class #: B200073
This colorful necklace is made by assembling a number
of beaded components.

Monday, June 1: Coin Flower, 8am-4pm
Class #: B200766
The Coin Flower necklace comes in two colorways-
Malibu (blue and copper) and Moab (shades of green
and bronze). See attached photo on the right.

The necklace is comprised of beaded beads and
bezelled 2-hole 14mm coin beads and is adjustable to
each beader's desired length. The pendant is 3

Friends and Followers,

We had a lovely time in Tucson and Tubac, Arizona in February. The Tubac Arts Festival was wonderful and successful for us. Some of you tracked me down in Tubac and discovered my new kits as well as my tried and true ones. This was only our second outside show, and we discovered the limits of our displays with respect to the wind. My husband just finished 2 new display cases that we will be testing out at our next show.

The Tubac show highlight for me, while waiting to pick up setup info, was standing behind Robert Shields (had his own tv show in the 70's -"Shields and Yarnell") who is well known for his mime skills but also for his artistic talents. I asked him if he still does mime, and he broke into a mini-routine.🤣 Cracked me up.

Our next show is in Sedona, Arizona October 12 & 13 at the high school's baseball field. I will share more information as it becomes available.

**************NOTICE FOR DELICA USERS! **************

If you want to specify the amount of Delica beads you get and not buy a full tube for a project that requires only a small amount of a particular bead, Read On.

Please add Enchanted Beads by JM to your list of vendors for Delica beads. I have priced around, and my retail prices appear to be the lowest available, and their is a 1/2 gram minimum (about 100 beads). If you live in the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho, NM area, there are a couple of options for picking your order up. Regardless of where you live, if you want your order sent to you, the minimum postage and handling charge is $4.00.

Please contact me for additional information.

Hello to my many followers. I have been quiet on Facebook lately because I have been learning some new skills (bead crochet and bola beaded beads), creating new pieces, and taking three classes from Cynthia Rutledge. I just posted an event notice with all the details for the Tubac Festival of the Arts since we will be selling my jewelry and kits there rather than in Tucson. I encourage any of you in the Tucson area to take a short side trip (about an hour south of Tucson) and visit Tubac and the 200 artists that will be featuring their wares. The entire village participates in preparing for the Festival and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all artists and visitors.

If you are unable to attend the Festival, my kits are all on sale in my Etsy shop. (Enchantedbeadsbyjm.etsy.com)

My New Year Resolution is to frequent Facebook more often.

Hope to see you in Tucson.

Happy beading,
June
