Hey, I did a thing that wasn’t sewing! 😄

Yesterday I spent the day canning Roasted Red Pepper and Garlic pasta sauce using tomatoes and herbs harvested from my garden. While weighing out the tomatoes I found those cute little Roma with a heart on it. I love you too, Garden Tomatoes! ❤️❤️

I started with 9 panel pieces and the desire to display them in a way that would shine- 396 FPP units later- here we are!!
Are they snowflakes, are they stars - it doesn’t matter really, because what they are without a doubt, is beautiful! ☺️

20 years ago we said I Do, and meant it! 🩵

After all this time, no matter how many quilts I ask him to help me spray baste or how long he has to hold up quilts while I take a million pictures…. He still chooses to keep me around. 😁
I definitely married a keeper!! ❤️

Oh how I love Big blocks! Even when they’re made from a whole bunch of little pieces 😉

Each block in this quilt will feature a winter woodland creature at its center, giving this quilt a unique personality. I really wanted each animal to have its own spotlight, and I feel I’ve certainly accomplished that!
I also wanted to include snowflake vibes, and tree vibes…. I know where the trees are represented, but do you see them too? Just curious 😁

A closeup look at each of the mini the panels I’m using for my latest quilt!! Which woodland creature is your favorite?? I personally love the deer, it reminds me of the deer that wander our neighborhood and eat crabapples off my tree in the winter.

On another note, I’m debating using the large panel (the last image) on the back of the quilt- what are your thoughts? Should I use it on the back or save it for another quilt?
