My Fun Tuesday Brain “Wow, a quilt top in a single day, awesome!” 🤩

My Logical Brain “Yeah, a single day if you don’t count all the work you did over the last two weeks to get the fabric ready and make the FPP blocks” 🤨

My Fun Tuesday Brain “It’s more fun to not count those days and say I made a quilt in a single day” 😁

My Logical Brain “At least it’s pretty.” 😏

Wednesday Brain: “Dont get too excited, you still have to make a second quilt top!” 😳

I guess with less than 2 weeks left in the month, I had better get started on that second quilt top!!! 😆

✨ New fabrics are on my cutting table and it’s time to lose myself in a new project!! ✨
Actually, I have two quilts planned for this brand new fabric line! I couldn’t decide what I liked more, the single large panel, or the set of four mid-sized panels….. so I’m using both!! 🤩

Quilters, Please do your due diligence, research a pattern to make sure you’re buying from the actual designer. Please!!! 🩵🩵

I am positively sickened by the blatant theft of individual patterns and designs by companies/websites large and small.

The pattern, the fabrics, the colors; it was all beautifully planned out by and I was honored to make this quilt for her! I am so glad that you all love it so much!!

Things are about to be extra quiet around here!
Today my middle child (with the 🕶️ ) left for Europe for 10 days on a school trip! ✈️
They’ll be visiting Berlin, Prague, Krakow and Budapest! I’m so excited for him to have this experience, and super proud of him for earning and saving the $4200 cost! (He got his first job in October to fund the trip and didn’t spend a single penny of his paychecks!)
We did surprise him after he hit his $$ goal and told him he didn’t actually have to pay for the whole trip himself. 😁

By the way, that first pic of my boys is one of my favorites in recent years…. Two smiles!! I don’t even know how that happened! They’ve been too cool to smile for pics for a good while now 🤣

The quilt everyone loves so much that my boys were holding up for me, I’ll share those glamour shots tomorrow 😉
