For many of us, September 11, 2001 was a day that changed the course of our lives forever. It became a call to action. A call to serve. A call to respond, regardless of the risk or personal cost.

25 years later, we are reminded of the unity we felt that day, as well as the sacrifices Americans from all walks of life would ultimately make to preserve and protect our freedom when it was under attack.

In honor of that sacrifice, we will be pledging 100% of the profits from the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Savage 1 training shoe to pay off the medical bills for veterans and first responders. This initiative will be a part of a larger campaign to pay off over $50 million in medical bills by the end of the year.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of September 11, we take this moment to honor the heroes who ran into danger and remember the unity they inspired across America in the years that followed.

We can never fully repay their courage and sacrifice. But we can honor their legacy of strength and carry it forward by supporting the men and women who protect this Nation every day.

In that vein, Born Primitive is donating 100% of profits from this special edition shoe to pay off first responder and veteran medical bill debt.

Our lead product designer Kurt Gamache addresses the recent departure of Aron Snyder. Please know that BP, its leadership and the whole crew at BPO have been in constant contact with Aron throughout this. Meetings have been and are still being held, and the team continues to be focused on the path forward, continuing to test and develop the full line of Outdoor products that the BPO crew had planned for the future.
