woah!! our • Navy Cross • heading to middle school is - WILD!! 💙 this sweet baby graduated fifth grade last week which means he’s now done with elementary school. whaaaa?!?! remind me never to blink again…. 🤪😩

closing a chapter on: walking these halls, attending special events, surprise lunches and dropping off + pickup up these boys at the same elementary school for TEN straight years feels very bitter sweet. it hasn’t fully set in that we won’t be stepping foot inside that school ever again 💔 but, we were truly blessed with the very best teachers all 10 years. each and every single teacher the boys had at Cox were amazing and we couldn’t be more thankful for them.

as for Bosty, he officially wrapped up 9th grade last week — I don’t know why, but something about the word sophomore just hits different, it sounds so grown-up. 🥹

soaking up allll of the 5th grade moments the past two weeks. it’s been full of precious memories I’ll always treasure. 💙 it’s not lost on me how lucky I am to have a schedule that allows me to show up for them all. today was 5th grade Fun Day and even through some rain these kids had fun! Navy and his smiles always crack me up. never know what kind of smiles I’m gonna get 🤣

our last elementary school field trip, ever. 😭 beyond grateful that I got to be there and experience it with him.
*this was only photo we took at the park where we ate lunch bc we couldn’t have our phones or smart watches on during the actual field trip. it was really strange not having it but I was able to thoroughly enjoy + soak in the whole experience of being there with my Navy baby. 🥰🫶🏽💖

we got to watch Boston receive his first high school award, the Outstanding Student Award for English.🏅he was one of only six students (the only boy 😬) selected across all freshman, sophomore, and junior English classes.

he continues to amaze us, and we’re constantly grateful that God chose us to be his parents. we are incredibly proud of him, but more than anything, we hope he is proud of himself.
