Get ready for the Great Frog Safari! We will be participating in this wonderful family friendly event. You can stop by the shop anytime and get your coloring pages for the coloring contest part of the event.

Get ready to hop through downtown Rochelle!

The Great Frog Safari is coming Saturday, September 19, from 1:00–4:00 p.m., presented by the Downtown Rochelle Association!

Young explorers can search participating businesses for tiny frogs, collect up to five frogs from each location, pick up free coloring pages, create a frog house at the Library, and enter to win Royal Scoop gift cards!

You’ll also find:

🔎 Tiny frog hunting throughout downtown
🎨 Free coloring pages
🏠 Frog-house building at the Library
🛍️ Downtown tables and sidewalk sales
🎪 Local vendors in the RMU parking lot

Bring your completed coloring pages and collected frogs to the Library before 4:00 p.m.

This is a free, family-friendly event. All children must remain accompanied by a parent or guardian.

926 Crafted Apparel is welcoming September in a big way as we continue investing in the shop by transforming our production area to boost workflow, efficiency, and overall capacity.
We’ve added a 4th Melco embroidery machine, upgraded our existing embroidery equipment with the latest tech, refreshed our production software, and strengthened our entire shop network to improve security, reliability, communication and order‑tracking accuracy. Every upgrade is designed to improve efficiency, shorten lead times, unlock even more creative possibilities, and expand the products we can offer our community.
And we’re not stopping there next up is a full retail‑area refresh with new shelving, product displays, and products arriving just in time for the fall shopping season. Big things are happening, Rochelle, and we’re just getting started. Thank you all for your business and continued support.

It’s Time for SMART BUSINESS NOW!

Have a business idea? Already running a business and ready to strengthen it? Or maybe you’re trying to figure out what your next step should be?

The Downtown Rochelle Association, City of Rochelle, Small Business Development Center at Waubonsee Community College, and Kishwaukee College are coming together to bring an 8-week Small Business Development Program right here to Rochelle!

The program will be taught by Dr. Jock M. Sommese and will focus on practical tools and guidance to help local entrepreneurs START, SURVIVE & THRIVE.

Over the eight weeks, participants will have the opportunity to learn about:
• Starting and structuring a business
• Building a sustainable business model
• Understanding finances and planning for growth
• Marketing and attracting customers
• Local resources available to entrepreneurs
• Connecting with other business owners and community partners

We are a little over a month away from our 1 year Anniversary since we rebranded as 926 Crafted Apparel. In that time we changed alot. And we have learned alot. One thing we learned is our turn around times are not always where we want them due to project backlog and production limitations. Over the next few weeks you will begin to see changes in the shop. We are adding new equipment including an additional NEW Melco embroidery machine to increase production capabilities and reduce lead times. We are upgrading our older Machines to improve reliabily and reduce unexpected down times. We are getting our back production room done and will get our laser up and running to open new avenues of product offerings and we are remodeling the front of the shop to increase retail space, improve product displays and reconfigure the production area to allow for better workflow. We are excited to share these changes with you, and want to thank you all for your continued support. Please let us know how we can help you create something you.

Shop Closure Announcement

The 926 Crafted Apparel shop will be closed Friday 7/24 as our team heads to Waterloo, Iowa to set up a pop up shop at the 2026 Midwest Regional Show Ski Tournament!

We're excited to spend the weekend supporting the athletes, teams, families, and fans who make this event one of the highlights of the season. If you're at Regionals, be sure to stop by our booth, say hello, and check out our latest apparel and merchandise.

We will return to our regular shop hours on Monday, July 27.
