This is our latest batch of pedal car firetruck ladders. These rails are ready for assembly to the rungs.
We start with locally sourced red oak and have it milled to ¾" square with rounded corners. We then cut it to length,sand and drill holes for rungs. Tje ends are then chamfered and then assembled using red oak dowels and glue.
We make them in 4 length,6½" for little scoot along cars,13" for Jalopy style cars,18½" for the 50's cars and 23" for the larger pre-war cars.
