Welcome to Unnecessary Extras! To help make your visit smooth, here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:

Can I pay with credit card?
We accept most forms of payment, including CC and Tap to Pay.

Can I bring this back?
All sales are final--we do not accept returns or offer refunds. (This info is posted at our cash register, as well as on your receipt.)

What's this worth?
Sorry, we do not appraise antiques, collectibles, jewelry, or coins.

Can I donate here?
We are unable to accept drop-offs of your unwanted items, BUT we are proud to partner with Joe's Hope Foundation to help pay off school lunch debt in Fulton County. You can support this great cause by purchasing items from their dedicated booth or by making a cash donation at the register.

Will you buy my stuff?
We do not buy from the public. If you would like to rent booth space to sell your items, please fill out a Vendor Interest Form on our website.

Will you donate to my organization/event?
Maybe. We love supporting our community whenever we can. While we wish we could say yes to every request, our resources are limited. To request a donation, please fill out the donation form on our website.

We are so excited to move into our new home! I know you have questions, so here are answers to what we've been hearing most:

📦 WHEN ARE YOU MOVING?
We will move mid-June.

📦 WILL YOU BE CLOSING DURING THE MOVE?
We are going to try to stay open during the moving process.

📦 WHAT WILL YOUR NEW HOURS BE?
We will probably have different store hours, but I don't know yet what those will be.

📦 ARE YOU HIRING?
We are not hiring right now.

📦 ARE YOU TAKING NEW VENDORS?
We will have space for new vendors, but I won’t know the exact number of booths, their sizes, or the costs until after we have the keys to the new store. Once the walls are painted, the booths are mapped out, and the move details are finalized, we will host an open house. This will be a chance for potential new vendors to check out the spaces, ask questions, and fill out an application. Meet Gilded Reserve: A stunning swirl of copper, rose gold, and activated charcoal — where shimmering rose gold meets the dark, honeyed depth of Midnight Bourbon.

This special batch was created for Trisha, my most loyal soap customer, who orders a full batch every few months and is always willing to test my crazy ideas. This time she messaged me:

“Are there any scents or colors/swirl/whatever you’ve wanted to experiment with? I will be your guinea pig. 🙂”

Isn’t she WONDERFUL?!

Gilded Reserve was a complete experiment — new scent blend, new recipe, new colors, and a new soaping method — and it turned out even better than I hoped. I can’t wait to hear Trisha’s feedback how it performs!
