Isaiah House

Isaiah House Isaiah House is a sanctuary for the terminally ill in Rochester, NY. Volunteers, aides, and nurses care for our residents in a 2 bed home 24/7.

We do not turn people away due to addiction, poverty, or the nature of their illness, and we charge no fee 💜 Isaiah House is one of the first homes for the dying in the Rochester area. Appreciating and honoring our history, we continue to reach out to our community and beyond, in the service of those in need. We first opened our doors in 1987 in a home given to us by one of our donors. Inspired by

the vision of our retired director Kathie Quinlan and the energy and passion of our current director Kristin Catalano, Isaiah House has been blessed with the opportunity to serve over 400 residents and their families. It is our philosophy to seek out and serve people with the greatest needs and fewest supports. There is no cost to stay at Isaiah House. Twenty seven years after we opened our doors, Isaiah House continues its journey of service to the Rochester community, with its own endings and new beginnings for residents, their families and friends.
