Meet Ria Tafani: The Woman Behind the Lens 📸
This month on Threadlines, we are celebrating Ria Tafani—a talented photographer, artist, community advocate, cancer survivor, animal lover, Mansawear customer, and dear friend.
Ria and I first met at the BCCR Annual Gala, where she was volunteering her time as a photographer. She noticed my model and Mansawear designs, and what began as a great photo opportunity quickly turned into a wonderful conversation.
We discovered that we knew many of the same people, and before long, Ria and I began collaborating.
Over the years, she has generously photographed Mansawear, capturing not only the clothing but the people, personalities, and stories behind the designs.
But Ria's story goes far beyond photography.
She is an artist, a passionate advocate for her community and animal rescue, and someone who truly believes in giving back. She is also a cancer survivor whose journey has given her an even deeper appreciation for life, creativity, faith, and community.
Someone once told me that the greatest friend you can have is someone who enhances your life and inspires you to become a better person.
Ria is that friend.
