Good morning! So when I look for a new employee, I always start with customers first. That doesn't work out for me sometimes as they don't show up, show up once and stop communicating. Some work a short time and quit. This store is a lot of work so I get it. I might have to pay more to get better help? I start out at $15 an hour. Seems to be the norm for small business.
This position requires being able to multitask, tagging and hanging a couple hundred items or more a day. Helping customers and a little cleaning.
I have a customer turned friend who has been helping me this week as new, prospective evening people don't show up and Michelle T is out all week. I also have a couple part timers fill in like Jackie and another Michelle.
I am concerned about the rise in business and having dependable help. I could work the other store alone but not here.
I was also sick all week so that really put strain on me.
I think a mature person who loves customer service would be great. Possibly a retired person with lots of energy!! Lol
I am barely getting by this week but cannot keep up the mystery of if someone is coming to work or not. Its too busy in here.
I will post on Indeed if I cannot get a reliable person to work soon. Just putting this out here one more time. Thank you!
