The Linen Shop

As we say goodbye to another fantastic Vermont foliage wedding season I wanted to share these pics from an epic event we did with a stellar team of vendors a few years ago. The terra cotta hemstitch napkins and gauze runners really brought it all together (but of course I might be biased),

Props to the fantastic Colette Kulig who always shares pics with vendors (we always appreciate that). The amazing Nancy Bishop Floral Design Nancy Bishop who will literally sing our praises to anyone who will listen. She should absolutely be included in our marketing budget. And where would any of this be without the beautiful Inn at Manchester for an amazing location that is so dreamy to work with on any event.

Now that’s a productive Monday with a dumb waiter full of freshly laundered Vermont rental linens.

Today we washed, folded and ironed napkins, runners and tablecloths on with a beautiful green vibe. They are all headed back to the stacks clean and ready for their next event.

Just another day behind the scenes at The Linen Shop, getting beautiful linens ready for weddings and events all over Vermont.

“We wanted to extend a big thank you for your role in making our wedding weekend so special! The tables looked fabulous, and we received a ton of compliments on the colors. We are so appreciative of your coordination throughout the process.”

Our linens and Vermont wedding vendors have basically the same summer:

🚗 a suspicious amount of driving
📆 weekends, what weekends?
🍰 questionable snacks
🌧️ unpredictable weather
💩 somehow end up covered in dirt
🌄 visit the most beautiful locations in Vermont.
👀 Look forward to rest in November.

Last week I attended a wedding industry mixer and chatted with some photographer friends. They were telling me how much they love working events that have our linens. (Yay). They can edit a lot of things, but they can’t edit wrinkles out of tablecloths. Only ironing does that!

Your friend may offer you second hand tablecloths, but are they ironed? Stain free? The correct size?

You may be able to buy cheap linens online. They are 100% polyester, arrive wrinkled and need to be ironed before use. There are 10+ yards of fabric in one 120” round. That’s almost impossible to iron on an ironing board. Just ask anyone that’s tried.

Let’s say you get past the ironing, put them on the tables and have a fantastic wedding day. If you own your linens, guess who has to wash them all? You can fit one, maybe 2 in a household washing machine. The longer you wait, the harder they are to get clean. It’ll take you a while to fold them all too. Sounds like exactly what you want to do the day after your wedding, right?

It’s not too late to reserve your rental linens for your 2026 Vermont wedding. Email me to get started: [email protected]
