Do you know the history of spoon rings? 🥄 🍴

Spoon rings date back to the 17th and 18th centuries, when household staff would sometimes craft rings from silverware as a symbol of love and commitment. These were not gifts they were given permission to make, so creating one could come with real consequences if discovered. Because of that, spoon rings became a quiet expression of devotion and a way to turn something ordinary into something deeply personal.

Every piece you see here continues that tradition, giving new life to vintage silverware and turning it into something meant to be worn and loved again.

Ever heard of a Rolex spoon? These unique pieces were originally luxury promotional items, often given out by jewelers or retailers who sold Rolex watches. Instead of traditional advertising, they used high-quality souvenir spoons stamped with the Rolex name to associate the brand with elegance, travel, and status. Many of these spoons came from iconic locations or fine hotels, blending the charm of vintage collectibles with the prestige of one of the most recognized names in the world. Today, they are little time capsules, carrying both history and craftsmanship in the palm of your hand.

Now let’s talk about transformation. This sweet little baby fork started its life as a delicate utensil, likely part of a child’s set, made to celebrate early milestones and special moments. Instead of letting it sit forgotten, I reshaped it into a full wrap ring. Every curve of the fork now hugs the finger, turning something once practical into something personal and wearable. You can still see hints of its original form, which makes it even more special.

That’s what I love most about working with vintage silverware. Each piece has already lived a life, and now it gets a second one with a whole new story to tell.
