Zoie came to SCF for prom alterations. It consisted of a combination of standard & creatives refinements. We converted her back from zip to lace-up (which also took it in simultaneously) and added a variety of embellishments. Trim as added to the hem + slit + straps and wired branched were added to the front neckline.

Nothing like a throwback to remind us just how much variety is produced at the SCF studio! This was a custom suit for Vanessa made from a black neoprene. She went for a double-breasted design accented by an oversized collar/lapel. The white contrast topstitch and carefully coordinated scroll-printed lining & buttons put lovely custom touches on this modern skirt suit. We finished it in time for her to wear for a stunning family photo session!

And yes… the pockets are functional.

The summer warmth seems like it’s finally here to stay and it has reminded me of this look that was inspired by the ombré of a summer sunset.

So here’s another episode of “I have enough content without final wearer photos to start an entire separate account.” Now we have to find other prompts to post them and the weather will do! 🌅

Custom V-neck sleeveless mini dress constructed from ombré stretch sequins featured coordinating hand-selected & hand-applied crystal & ostrich feather clusters by yours truly, Syreeta C.
